As long as time, budget, and memory serve me well, I will soon have replaced all the old Thomas Edison type light bulbs with the new, energy smart, lasts-100-years, squiggly bulbs. Even on sale, they're not the cheapest item in the aisle. BUT... If they're as good as they say, I will NEVER have to replace another light bulb.
So, what am I going to do with all the old light bulbs my father gave me before he moved from the Cape ~ 5 years ago?

Happy Birthday, Mom
Dear Mom,
I can't believe that it's been four years since you passed away. However, each April 15 I celebrate you and your birthday but I remember you and think about you and Daddy every day. How could I forget? It's Income Tax Day as well. LOL. You would've been 86 today.
As a funny aside, YOU were the original FLY LADY!
Were you proud of me last Sunday as I joined the choir and sang the Hallelujah Chorus at the end of the Easter Service? I think I did the alto pretty well - but then, I had a great teacher.
Miss you!
Happy Birthday, Mom!
Love,
Sherrie

Heavenly Choir
The Pilgrim Church Heavenly Choir gained a bass early this morning. Bob Worters went to join Art, Charlie, Dick, Larry, Bob, Erica, and Susan.
Even though he will be sorely missed here, I know he was greeted with open arms.
Bob, we'll miss your wonderful voice, your kind wisdom, your contagious laugh and your enduring friendship. Thank you for being with Susan when no one else could.
Peace.
