Confession time: Today was only the 4th time in my life that I had been in a Target Store. Times 1 and 2 were pre surgery and nothing was really appealing to me at the time. Time 3 was a month ago when I was in Illinois and I do admit that I was impressed. So, today when I was on the way to do some grocery shopping, I decided to stop in at Target. There are 3 of them within a 10-mile radius of my house.
I was impressed. It was clean, neat, organized, and very well stocked. It wasn't crowded and the people that were there seemed nice and polite. It wasn't noisy - I'm not even sure they had any MUSAK playing. AND, their prices were even cheaper than Walmart's prices. I was in Wally World yesterday and when I compared some of the prices today, I was shocked at some of the differences.
I just may have to readjust my way of thinking and frequent the local Targets more often. The one think I didn't check out was their yarn department - wonder if they have one and what it's like.
