Kudos to the Container Store

I just got back from shopping and lunch with a friend. After going to the annual Craft Fair, we had lunch and then went to the Container Store. If you don't have one in your neighborhood and/or have never been to one, it's an organizer's delight. They have a container for everything.

Now, I will grant you, they are not the cheapest place to shop and I know that you can get a lot of their items - or reasonable facsimiles thereof - at other stores - but they are a great place to get some good ideas. And, in some cases, they're the only kid on the block. They carry archival boxes and paper and that's what I was looking for.

And, as is the case in most shopping excursions, I can rarely leave a store with only the one item that I went in for. Thus was the case today. I also came out with an accordion file folder that was on sale and a "miracle cloth" that will clean windows and mirrors with or without water.

And, as is the case in most stores, there are labels on many items as well as price stickers. But, much to my surprise, the labels and stickers put on by the container store on their products came off with one quick pull. NO fighting with gummed stickers that were put on with the hopes of outlasting the ozone layer as we know it. I simply lifted one corner, gently pulled, and off they came.

Thank you Container Store! You have saved my purchases from scratches and my new manicure from being ruined!
